SATO Levante
Phase I. . Based on an existing pontoon and, on behalf of the shipowner COTENAVAL made the basic engineering and construction supervision of the manufacture and Assembly of 4 towers of 18 m length by 3.6 m breadth and 15 m of depth. Also a lifting structure with their corresponding lattice towers on each of the floating towers was built. In that lifting structure were set two concrete arms for the works of manufacturing of caissons, and a crane for auxiliary works. Iron works Pontoons
In order to expedite the caissons construction, SATO decided to build two pontoons so that the ironwork for a new caisson could be made on them while still being built the previous one above the caisson dock. COTENAVAL developed the project of two pontoons with similar characteristics with name SATO PERDIGUERA y SATO ESPARTEÑA, planned to be join together to form a single pontoon with a unique dimension, which are the ones corresponding to the space between towers of the SATO LEVANTE caisson dock. Crew Boat Panther Primo
The project consist in among others, the flag registration of the vessel “Panther Primo” which is used to move technicians to the Gas platform “CASTOR” located off the coast of Vinaróz. With the available information of the vessel, the appropriate structural drawings were carried out, COTENAVAL also develope drawings in spanish (general arrangement, tank capacity, safety and fire-fighting, freeboard information, etc.) stability studies, and compliance reports accordance with the international regulations. Also as a complement of the flag registration, COTENAVAL has proceeded to assemble over the deck a crane for load and unload of containers and replaced one of the auxiliary engine.

COTENAVAL determined the stability of the submarine S-63 MARSOPA, belonging to Daphné Class. Once the useful period of the submarine ended, this was going to be towed from the Cartagena Port to Vinaroz Port in order to be scrapped. Due to the submarine state, we were required to ensure to Cartagena’s Maritime Authority that the submarine was able to make that journey without stability problems.
